The MTHFR genetic factor plays a key role in why most have trouble healing from their autoimmune diseases.

Learn how the MTHFR gene mutation or the COMT and MAO SNPs can be preventing your best efforts of healing.

Here’s the link to the Neuro-Immune Stabilizer cream I reference in the video. Click here.

Getting Tested

I myself have the MTHFR gene mutation. And I’ve found that all of the autoimmune sufferers I personally know who have been tested for this gene mutation come out positive. Ask your doctor if they can order the MTHFR gene test.

If it is not covered by your insurance, you can order the test yourself through MTHFRdoctors.com for $130. It comes with a full report decoding the results of your genetic information.

If you discover that you have this mutation, you may want to encourage your family to get tested also. It is exciting to discover this because there are things that you can do to work around this gene mutation and help your body where it is weak.

What these Gene Mutations Do?

In 1990 a project called the Human Genome Project launched with the goal to sequence and map the human DNA.

It finished in 2003 and opened up the ability for some interesting discoveries. One being there are many gene mutations regularly occurring in society that can directly relate to whether or not you get an autoimmune disease or not.

These gene mutations also effects how you would go about treating your autoimmune disease if you do have a genetic issue.

These mutations are involved in large number of people who suffer from neuro-immune syndromes such as

  • Autism
  • ADD and ADHD
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • And other autoimmune related diseases

Genetics

Scientist and Medical professional everywhere are saying that there is a genetic link to autoimmune diseases.

I’ve found this to be true in my research also. You see certain autoimmune diseases that effect certain ethnicity. Also some families get lot’s of autoimmune disease and some get none. In my family there are six who are effected with autoimmune diseases.

What is a genetic mutation?

A genetic mutation is a variation in a certain molecule that occurs at a specific position in our genetic instructions (DNA).

Down the line this genetic issue has the potential to abnormally change some function in the body.

2 Categories

I divide the genetic issues effecting autoimmune disease into 2 different categories.

1.) Genetic mutations that cause a loss in your immune system’s capability to discern between your own body and foreign invaders (pathogen)

2.) Other genetic mutations called a SNP (Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms)

These SNP’s either speed up or slow down a certain chemical process in your body. We’re going to focus more on the SNP’s since there is more research on how to deal with them.

What exactly do SNP’s do?

SNP’s either speed up or slow down certain chemical processes in your body.

For instance there are certain enzymes that are responsible for making certain vitamins and minerals available to the body. If that enzyme is slowed down or sped up due to a gene mutation it can cause too little or too much of those vitamins or minerals.

Due to these gene mutations it’s also possible that certain good chemicals in the body get converted into things that are toxic.

Many of these gene mutations effect our neurotransmitters like:

  • Dopamine
  • Adrenaline
  • Serotonin

The gene mutations can effect enzymes that are responsible for:

  • Moving these neurotransmitters where they need to go
  • Breaking neurotransmitters down
  • Converting neurotransmitters to other things we need

If these processes are slowed down or sped up it can cause a number of serious problems like:

  • Make you toxic
  • Hard to sleep (Insomnia)
  • Hard time calming down
  • Hard to feel good
  • Hard to think
  • Make you lack energy
  • Enhance your ability to feel pain

The gene mutation that’s getting the most attention right now is the MTHFR mutation. There’s many others mutations such as the COMT and MAO mutations.

Watch the video above to find out all the details about these mutations and how they could be effecting your situation and be a key in healing your condition.

Hope this presentation will be a blessing for you.
